๐บ Night Before ๐บ
On the night before the wedding (Friday, August 10), weโll be hanging out at Against the Grain (401 E Main St, Louisville, KY 40202) starting around 9:30pm if anyone wants to come join us for a drink. If youโre staying at the Residence Inn, this is just a couple of blocks away!
๐ Transportation ๐
For the wedding day itself (Saturday, August 11), the ceremony and reception will be from 5:00pm - 11:30pm at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens (6220 Old Lagrange Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014). Parking is very limited, so we encourage everyone who is planning to stay for the whole event to take one of the shuttles we are providing to and from Louisville:
- Shuttle 1 picks up and drops off at the Residence Inn (333 E Market St)
- Shuttle 2 picks up and drops off in the parking lot of the old Government Center (850 Barret Ave). There should be plenty of parking in that lot if youโd like to drive over and leave your car there.
๐ Shoes ๐
Yew Dell is a working botanical garden, with many types of surfaces, including grass, gravel, mulch, and brick. We recommend you wear shoes that are flat, low heel, or wedge... only wear stilettos if your ankles are feeling particularly flexible :)

Keep your fingers crossed for sunshine, but there is a lovely air-conditioned barn that we can use for the ceremony if necessary. The reception will be in a covered pavilion.
๐ถ Accessibility ๐ถ
If you need to drop a passenger off at the walkway and then park in the gravel lot, feel free to do that. If walking is an obstacle, please text our event coordinator Pinky Jackson at 502-523-3671 and let us know in advance so that we can have a golf cart meet you at the entrance.

There are plenty of indoor restrooms at the pavilions.

Breezes and shades have been making for lovely evenings at Yew Dell, but if you need an A/C break, the Gheens Barn will be available.
